John Cena became the third ever pro wrestler to host SNL and joined the likes of The Rock and Hulk Hogan in doing so, his performance as the host gathered instant acclaim, it didn’t take too long for the storm to invade the Twitter world. Here is a look at Cena’s appearance on the show:

Cena’s appearance at the show was widely anticipated and he received several good thoughts heading into the show, most notably from “The Game” Triple H who tweeted:

Cena kicked off the show alongside Bobby Moynihan as Santa Claus in his opening monologue and was confronted by Lelie Jones in Pro wrestling mode.

Cena went on to portray characters like Fabio, New England Patriot Rob Gronkowski, Johnny The Karate Kid and finally the newly elected president of America and WWE Hall Of Famer, Donald Trump. Cena executed each role to perfection as the show went on.
