John Cena shares wholesome message after meeting Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan

John Cena recently shocked the wider WWE Universe when he announced his imminent retirement at Money in the Bank. However, the WWE Universe in India was in for an even bigger shock, as The Champ was recently spotted in Mumbai. Attending the wedding of Indian billionaire Mukesh Ambani's youngest son, Anant Ambani, Cena had a grand old time.

Following the end of the occasion, John Cena, dressed in a bandhgala suit, a customary Indian outfit, posed for a picture with Bollywood legend Shah Rukh Khan. Despite the presence of other famous individuals at the gathering, this specific photograph holds importance, especially for Cena. And he explained exactly why on X.

John Cena recounted his experience from his trip to India, emphasizing the extraordinary nature of the previous day. He expressed thanks to the Ambani family for their generous hospitality and the wonderful time he had filled with memorable encounters and chances to forge new friendships. Yet, the central focus of his message was aimed at Shah Rukh Khan, whom he acknowledged as having a profound influence on his life.

"A surreal 24 hours. So grateful for the Ambani family for their unmatched warmth and hospitality. An experience filled with so many unforgettable moments which allowed me to connect with countless new friends, including meeting @iamsrk and being able to tell him personally the positive effect he has had on my life." wrote John Cena

It certainly is an incredible world we live in. One where two icons from two ends of the globe can meet and have a wonderful conversation. But if there is anything the WWE fans in India will be taking away from this, it's the hope that Cena will come back to the country soon.

WWE veteran is convinced that John Cena is not really retiring

As mentioned earlier, John Cena dropped a bomb at Money in the Bank when he announced his intention to retire from pro wrestling. It was a surreal moment, which led to the WWE Universe thanking him for all he had done. Cena will now return in 2025 for his farewell tour, and fans cannot wait.

However, one WWE veteran is convinced that there is no way Cena is retiring. Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk, Dutch Mantell claimed that Cena will not retire and that he will come back to the squared circle for the right price. He believes that The Champ will continue with the narrative of being retired for a long time until WWE comes calling again.

It is safe to say that the WWE Universe will have no complaints if he decides to come out of retirement after 2025. But we'll cross that bridge when we get there. For now, let's all just appreciate the legend that is John Felix Anthony Cena.
