Former WWE manager praises Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa's heel turn
Wrestling veteran Dutch Mantell shared his thoughts on #DIY turning heel this past Friday night on SmackDown.
Speaking on the latest episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk show, Mantell commented on Gargano and Ciampa's heel turn on the blue brand. The legend noted that it was very well done and caught him off guard.
"Well executed, and it made you think. I am watching it, and after all these years, I can’t tell where it’s going. That’s the beauty about wrestling. The way they did it, it kinda surprised me, in a good way. These guys, they are going to have some barn burners. They are going to burn it up. It was preconceived; how did they do this? They just did; they figured it out and made Sabin and Shelley look like goofs for not figuring it out themselves. Now they can put these guys in the ring, give them 15 minutes, and they’ll burn the building down." [From 51:26 onwards]
