JoJo issues heartbreaking update 10 months after Bray Wyatt's tragic passing
The WWE Universe has been discussing Bray Wyatt lately, mainly due to the long-awaited arrival of The Wyatt Sicks on RAW. JoJo Offerman also issued a statement today related to her late fiancé, seemingly in response to recent fan narratives.
The Eater of Worlds tragically left this world exactly 10 months ago, on August 24, 2023, after suffering a heart attack while taking a nap in his home. Wyatt, aka Windham Rotunda, was only 36 years old. He began dating Offerman in 2017, and they had a son in May 2019 and then a daughter one year later. The man behind The Fiend popped the question 23 months after the birth of their daughter, and JoJo said yes.
Offerman recently received flak from fans on social media after she was seen going out with friends, including Liv Morgan and CJ Perry, aka Lana. JoJo shared a message and some sound advice on her Instagram Stories today with fans. She attached "To Build a Home" by The Cinematic Orchestra to the post.
"I'll never show anyone how much I'm actually hurting. Never. I'll smile and say I'm fine. Keep that in mind the next time you think I seem okay. Be kind. All I've ever wanted is the life Windham and I created together. And now I have to learn to live this life without him when everyday I mourn the love he made me feel. It's hard carrying the weight of not only my pain, but the pain of our kids. But im grateful that Windham gave me 2 beautiful kids to keep loving me long after he's gone. So for them, I'll keep smiling and saying I'm fine, even if I'm not," JoJo Offerman wrote.
Bray Wyatt and JoJo Offerman became engaged on April 28, 2022. He passed away 104 days before they were scheduled to get married (December 6, 2023).
The Wyatt Sicks pay tribute to Bray Wyatt
After months of speculation, WWE debuted The Wyatt Sicks on RAW last week. Led by Uncle Howdy, aka Bo Dallas, the faction features Sister Abigail aka Nikki Cross, Mercy The Buzzard aka Dexter Lumis, Ramblin' Rabbit aka Erick Rowan, and Huskus The Pig aka Joe Gacy.
After leaving a massacre backstage at RAW last week, Howdy and his sinister friends stood on the stage and announced, "We're here!" to the WWE Universe.
As seen below, alternate angle footage from a fan in attendance shows the subtle tribute to Bray Wyatt as his brother looked up to the sky.
Bray Wyatt's longtime collaborator and friend, Jason Baker of Callosum Studios, created the attire and masks for The Wyatt Sicks, and it's believed that all other creative aspects came from or at least were inspired by Wyatt himself.
