Jordynne Grace breaks silence after getting speared by Zaria at NXT 2300
Jordynne Grace has broken her silence following NXT 2300 where she was victorious in the main event along with Zaria, Stephanie Vaquer, Giulia, and Kelani Jordan. Grace also commented on Zaria hitting a spear on her toward the end of the match.
At the first NXT show on the old ECW Arena, a 10-woman tag team match took place in the main event. The babyfaces mentioned above defeated the team of Roxanne Perez, Cora Jade, Fallon Henley, Jacy Jayne, and Jazmyn Nyx. Zaria got the win for her team after hitting an F5 and pinning Perez.
However, before the conclusion of the match, Zaria accidentally hit Grace with a spear. It happened after Perez moved out of the way. The former TNA Knockouts Champion took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to react to the spot.
"Does the face paint make you blind??" Grace asked.
It will be interesting to see what happens next after NXT 2300. The next premium live event for the brand is NXT Deadline on December 7th in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Stephanie Vaquer and Zaria both have a strong case to be the next No. 1 contender for the NXT Women's Championship for pinning Roxanne Perez at Halloween Havoc and NXT 2300, respectively.
Jordynne Grace's return to NXT is shrouded in mystery since she's no longer the TNA Knockouts Champion. Maybe she wants to add a new title on her resume or a potentialy feud against Zaria after what happened on Wednesday night.
Jordynne Grace has an expiring contract with TNA
According to multiple reports, Jordynne Grace has a contract with TNA Wrestling until January 2025. It was supposed to end next summer, but it was altered and will likely end early next year.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select confirmed that Grace's deal is expiring soon and it won't be surprising if WWE signs her to a contract. With the two companies working together this year, it could be a favorable arrangement for all parties involved.
Grace recently lost her TNA Knockouts Women's Championship to Masha Slamovich at Bound for Glory. The Juggernaut possibly joining NXT makes its women's division even deeper.
