Judgment Day ally makes a bold statement after controversial win on WWE RAW
The Judgment Day remains a dangerous group on WWE RAW despite the absence of Rhea Ripley. They recently helped Carlito get a huge win on Monday, with the superstar making a bold statement later in the show.
Carlito went one-on-one with arch-rival Dragon Lee as their feud continued to escalate. The former United States Champion was accompanied by JD McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio, who both had a hand in his victory. Liv Morgan also did her part, but it was McDonagh who was the difference-maker. The star is not an official member of the heel stable but has been seen with Damian Priest and co. over the last few weeks.
In his post-match interview backstage, Megan Morant asked Carlito about his controversial win over the young masked luchador. He rebuffed Morant's question and vowed to help The Judgment Day remain a dominant force on Monday nights.
"What's controversial about it? You know what? The point is Carlito got the victory. That's all that needs to be known. Carlito's from here all the way up. I'm gonna show that Judgment Day rules this place," Carlito said.
Damian Priest has not officially confirmed Carlito as a new member of the Judgment Day. However, his contributions are starting to affect the group positively and it might only be a matter of time before the former Intercontinental Champion becomes a member of the group.
Liv Morgan continues to disrupt The Judgment Day
Newly crowned Women's World Champion Liv Morgan continued her goal to take everything away from Rhea Ripley. Morgan put Ripley on the shelf by inflicting a shoulder injury. She then started flirting with Dominik Mysterio and was seemingly closer to getting his heart.
Damian Priest, Finn Balor, and JD McDonagh are hell-bent on stopping Morgan although Balor might have met the champ secretly at a hotel. Nevertheless, it will get more interesting once Mami returns to get her revenge.
With Ripley still on the shelf, some fans might wonder who will be Morgan's first challenger. Based on the last two weeks, Zelina Vega might have put herself in a good position to get a title shot.
Vega has interrupted the champ twice during her flirtations with Dominik, resulting in a massive brawl. Money in the Bank is less than a month away and there's plenty of time to find out the new number one contender for the Women's World Title.
