Judgment Day duo lands in Saudi Arabia, major WWE star interestingly absent
The sixth WWE Crown Jewel Premium Live Event will begin in less than twenty-four hours. The high-stakes event could be a history-making night for The Judgment Day while the first-ever RAW from Saudi Arabia could also mean big news for the group as the road to Survivor Series kicks off. Superstars have arrived in the Kingdom for weekend festivities, and there are a few happenings already related to The Judgment Day.
The WWE Universe seems to be speculating on the future of the faction ahead of Crown Jewel and the Saudi RAW. A strong follow-up is expected after RAW ended with Damian Priest destroying Dominik Mysterio, but only after Dominik earned a World Heavyweight Championship contender shot by defeating Priest, thanks to interference from the rest of the group, except Finn Balor. The WWE website has Priest, Dom, and Liv advertised for RAW, which tapes Sunday at the same venue as Crown Jewel.
Dirty Dom's absence at today's Crown Jewel Kickoff in Riyadh fueled rumors of his PLE status. Liv and Raquel appeared for a segment with WWE Women's Champion Nia Jax, and when asked where Mysterio was, Morgan noted how she adopted a kitten the night before so Dom was being a good boy by babysitting it. The cover story is interesting as Liv took to Instagram on Friday afternoon seeking a good home for a stray cat found in Riyadh, but as of Friday evening, she was still in possession of the cat. Morgan has not indicated if Mysterio will actually appear at the PLE, but the door is open, and he should be a lock-in for Monday's historic RAW.
The Prince of Ireland took to Instagram today to announce that the RAW Tag Team Champions have arrived in the Kingdom. Balor included a photo of him and The Irish Ace. Carlito has not been seen yet, but Dominik arrived on Friday and appeared in front of fans at the same location where Finn and JD were seen. The champions seem to be out mainly as a duo, adding to rumors of Carlito getting ejected from The Judgment Day. The veteran superstar has not confirmed his status as of now.
"The Champs are here in Riyadh," wrote Finn Balor with the photo below.
Rodriguez and Morgan arrived in the Kingdom more than one day before Mysterio, McDonagh, and Balor, and in addition to their Crown Jewel Kickoff segment, they have been seen together while out and about in the Saudi capital.
WWE Superstars to make history on Saturday
Liv Morgan will have The Judgment Day's support as she and Nia Jax make history by competing in the first-ever WWE Women's Crown Jewel Championship match at Saturday's Crown Jewel PLE. The winner will make much bigger history as the inaugural champion as Triple H kicks off a new tradition.
The first-ever Cody Rhodes vs. Gunther match will also be historic as it will crown the inaugural WWE Men's Crown Jewel Champion. Rhodes, Gunther, Morgan, and Jax will not have their main titles up for grabs in these Crown Jewel matches.
Peacock and all WWE social media channels will begin airing the Countdown to Crown Jewel preview show at 11 am ET on Saturday. The main PLE card will begin on Peacock and the WWE Network at a special time of 1 pm ET, and then a post-show will hit the air as soon as Crown Jewel ends on Peacock and the social channels.
