Judgment Day member lied to his faction regarding Liv Morgan, says WWE Analyst, on Monday Night RAW
While Liv Morgan seemingly has something going on with Dominik Mysterio, the latter is not the only Judgment Day member in contact with the new Women's World Champion. On WWE RAW, Morgan was seen backstage having a conversation with another member of the faction.
The superstar in question is JD McDonagh. In a backstage segment, he was spotted in the background having a conversation with Morgan. When questioned about it by Damian Priest, the Irish star claimed he was informing the 29-year-old that she would not hold on to her championship for a long time. However, WWE Analyst Sam Roberts believes the former NXT Cruiserweight Champion was lying to his faction.
On his Notsam Wrestling podcast, Roberts pointed out that the conversation between McDonagh and Morgan did not appear hostile like The Judgment Day member claimed it was.
"You heard JD McDonagh talking to The Judgment Day, and he says, 'The thing about Liv and I is that I was saying, 'You're [Liv Morgan] not going to hold on to that title for long, missy!'' Now, I watched their interaction behind the backs of the superstars who were actually cutting their promos, and it didn't look very hostile. I don't tend to believe that was the conversation that JD McDonagh was having," he said. [13:20 - 13:43]
Liv Morgan kissed Dominik Mysterio on WWE RAW
Ahead of her match against Becky Lynch at the King and Queen of the Ring, Dominik Mysterio confronted Liv Morgan, claiming he traveled to Saudi Arabia to prevent her from winning Rhea Ripley's Women's World Championship. However, his apparent plan to provide The Man with a chair to use on Morgan during the match backfired, as the 29-year-old used it to defeat Lynch and capture the title.
Last night on RAW, the former NXT North American Champion interfered again in Morgan's Steel Cage Match against Lynch. Although he seemingly tried to help The Man, his interference helped the new Women's World Champion escape with a victory. After the match, the 29-year-old surprisingly kissed Mysterio.
It would be interesting to see how this storyline will unfold and whether JD McDonagh will play a part in Liv Morgan's angle with Dominik Mysterio.
