Judgment Day member reacts to Damian Priest's heartbreaking loss at WWE SummerSlam

Damian Priest lost his World Heavyweight Championship to Gunther at WWE SummerSlam. A Judgment Day member has reacted to this loss.

Finn Balor and Damian Priest have been part of The Judgment Day for a long time. Although they have had issues in the past, they have stuck by each other's side like brothers. However, that all changed at SummerSlam.

At The Biggest Party of the Summer, Priest defended his World Heavyweight Championship against Gunther in a thrilling contest. Midway through the match, Finn Balor came out to support his stablemate. However, when Priest hit his South of Heaven chokeslam and went for the pinfall on Gunther, The Prince pulled The Ring General's foot on the bottom rope, breaking the pinfall.

This infuriated and distracted The Archer of Infamy, allowing Gunther to choke him out and win the World Heavyweight Championship. Following this match, Finn Balor has taken to social media to post a picture of the new champion on his Instagram Stories.

Another Judgment Day betrayal took place at WWE SummerSlam

Damian Priest wasn't the only Judgment Day member who got betrayed at WWE SummerSlam. Rhea Ripley got the chance to regain her Women's World Championship against Liv Morgan at the start of the show.

Both women put on an incredible match. Towards the end of the contest, Dominik Mysterio passed a steel chair into the ring, which allowed Liv Morgan to hit her finisher and get the pinfall win on Mami.

Following the match, Dominik Mysterio helped Liv up and then kissed her in front of Ripley, indicating the end of their relationship and story.

Based on what happened at WWE SummerSlam, it's safe to say that this faction is probably over.
