Judgment Day member sends 2-word message following massive WWE return after 5,180 days
The Judgment Day made its way to Mexico over the weekend to take part in a couple of WWE Live events in Mexico City and Monterrey. Carlito set foot in the country as a WWE Superstar for the first time in 5,180 days.
Carlito has been an indispensable part of the Judgment Day ever since Rhea Ripley was ruled out with a shoulder injury. His status within the group might get solidified with Damian Priest remaining the World Heavyweight Champion and Finn Balor and JD McDonagh securing the World Tag Team Title.
In a post on his official Instagram account, the former United States and Intercontinental Champion shared a video of his entrance from his match on Sunday's live event. He had not been in Mexico as a WWE star since May 8, 2010, before the house show.
"Pretty cool," Carlito wrote.
It took 14 years for Carlito to return to Mexico as a WWE Superstar since he had not been with the company for a while since asking for his release in 2010. He has visited Mexico as an independent wrestler in the past.
The 45-year-old star spent a lot of time in Mexico during his time away from WWE. He wrestled against veterans such as Chavo Guerrero, Rikishi, Chris Masters, Shelton Benjamin, Juventud Guerrera, Rey Mysterio, Drew McIntyre, The Viking Raiders, Alberto Del Rio, and Andrade.
The Judgment Day set for a big night on WWE RAW
The Judgment Day's fingerprints will be all over Monday Night RAW this week in Dayton, Ohio. Rhea Ripley will open up the show to finally address Liv Morgan and possibly Dominik Mysterio for all the things they did when she was on the sidelines.
Damian Priest is set to go face-to-face with Gunther ahead of their SummerSlam match for the World Heavyweight Championship. It's going to be an interesting dynamic, especially with Priest displaying babyface tendencies over the past few weeks.
With SummerSlam just right around the corner, WWE should be ramping up the build to arguably its second-biggest event of the year. The show will be held at the Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio.
