Judgment Day member sends warning to Jey Uso ahead of WWE RAW
Jey Uso is evidently one of the superstars WWE considers a valuable asset ever since he broke free from The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns and closed out this year's SummerSlam with the latter.
His short run on the flagship show thus far featured another tag team run, this time alongside Cody Rhodes. The duo won the Undisputed Tag Team Titles at Fastlane but dropped it in less than two weeks back to The Judgment Day.
Finn Balor has now dropped a message on social media ahead of the Crown Jewel fallout edition of WWE RAW. On the premium live event last Saturday, Rhodes defeated Damian Priest in the penultimate contest. The bout saw Balor and Dominik Mysterio get involved, only for Jey Uso to stop them.
"..and don’t come around here again ye hear me?!" Finn Balor wrote on Instagram with a picture of a fallen Jey Uso.
The creative team seems to be stalling at this point, as the imminent feud between Jimmy and Jey Uso is likely being saved for The Show of Shows in 2024. But considering it was Jimmy who cost his brother and Rhodes the tag titles, one can safely assume that a WarGames match is incoming at Survivor Series.
Is Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso looking to regain the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship?
Their union was a bit of a surprise, albeit it was Rhodes who brought Jey back to WWE, which opened up the latter to a fresh start on the red brand. What was more shocking, though, was their reign, which ended in nine days. It remains to be seen if they are again on the hunt for gold on Monday nights.
Speaking to Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated following Crown Jewel, Cody Rhodes touched on a variety of topics. He opened up about teaming with a former Bloodline member after everything that transpired at WrestleMania 39:
"Jey has been a superb teammate," said Rhodes. "I need to ask him what inning we are in."
In a similar fashion, while doing an interview for SI Media, Cody Rhodes took a fiery shot at Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman's "third-inning" comment at the WrestleMania 39 post-show press conference. Check out the details here.
