Judgment Day member will fall victim to a major betrayal at WWE SummerSlam, says veteran
Two Judgment Day members will compete in title matches at WWE SummerSlam next month. A wrestling veteran recently predicted that one of them would be betrayed by one of the faction members.
The superstar in question is Rhea Ripley. The Eradicator will challenge Liv Morgan for the Women's World Championship at The Biggest Party of The Summer in Cleveland. While Dominik Mysterio is Ripley's on-screen boyfriend, Morgan has been trying to seduce and steal him from her rival. On the Gigantic Pop podcast, wrestling veteran Matt Morgan predicted which side Dirty Dom will take in the square-off between Mami and the current champion.
When a fan asked Morgan whether Dominik would betray Ripley at SummerSlam, the TNA legend disclosed that he thinks that will happen. Meanwhile, he agreed with his co-host Raj Giri that it makes sense now for Mami to be a babyface:
"[Do you think Dom turns on Rhea at SummerSlam?] Yes. [It makes sense now for Rhea to be a babyface.] It does," he said. [From 18:12 to 18:17]
Ex-WWE host Matt Camp also thinks Dominik will turn on Rhea Ripley
Speaking on his The Wrestling Matt podcast, former WWE host Matt Camp talked the future of the love triangle between Rhea Ripley, Dominik Mysterio, and Liv Morgan. He predicted Dirty Dom would take the Women's World Champion's side.
Camp pointed out that although Ripley might still be listed internally as a heel in the Stamford-based company, she receives a babyface reaction. Hence, she cannot be aligned with arguably "the most hated person in wrestling":
"They have that internal roster. I'm not saying it's an end-all-be-all, but it exists. It still may have Rhea and Liv both under the 'heel females' right now. That very well could be a thing. You listen to the crowd, you know that Rhea is being presented as a babyface even if she's still with Judgment Day. If she talks down to Dom, if she checks him, Dom's the most hated person in wrestling arguably, so she's gonna be a babyface off of that," he said.
While Ripley is still with the hell faction it was recently reported that she is currently listed as a babyface in the internal roster on RAW. With Mami's popularity growing day-by-day, the company might official turn her face in the upcoming weeks.
Morgan and Ripley have not engaged in physical battle since The Eradicator's return to WWE. It would be interesting to see what will happen when they stand across each other inside the ring at SummerSlam and whether Dominik will play a deciding role in the anticipated match.
