Kairi Sane shares message following WWE Crown Jewel loss

WWE Crown Jewel weekend has wrapped up in Saudi Arabia. Superstars returned to the Kingdom for Saturday's Crown Jewel Premium Live Event, and Sunday's tapings for the first-ever Saudi RAW, which will air in its normal Monday timeslot. Damage CTRL experienced major highs and lows while in the country, and now Kairi Sane has issued a message on her way out.

The Pirate Princess teamed with The Genius of the Sky at World Wrestling Entertainment's sixth Crown Jewel PLE, but they came up short against Women's Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill, in a Fatal-Four Way that included Meta-Four's Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson, as well as Chelsea Green and Piper Niven. Damage CTRL was also represented at the historic RAW as SKY competed in a Battle Royal to determine the next challenger to Women's World Champion Liv Morgan. A major spoiler was revealed by members of the WWE Universe in Dublin.

WWE's 2017 Mae Young Classic winner did not participate in the Battle Royal, but she did join SKY post-match. Sane took to Instagram after flying back to the United States and thanked everyone in the Kingdom. She also included two backstage photos and a tarmac selfie with SKY.

"Thank you so much, Saudi Arabia [heart exclamation emoji] [Saudi Arabian flag] [grinning face with smiling eyes emoji] [heart hands emoji] [sparkles emoji x 2] #WWECrownJewel #WWERaw," Kairi Sane wrote with the three photos below.

October was rough for Damage CTRL. Inaugural WWE Speed Women's Champion Candice LeRae defeated Sane in the semi-finals, then defeated SKY in the finals. After losing a title match to Belair and Cargill, Kairi and IYO wrestled Liv and Raquel Rodriguez to a No-Contest, and then one night later, they worked Legend and Jackson in a No-Contest.
