Kairi Sane shares new look and attitude following WWE RAW loss
This week's WWE RAW featured the fallout from Survivor Series: WarGames, along with the latest build for Saturday Night's Main Event and the red brand's Netflix era. Damage CTRL had a night of highs and lows, and now Kairi Sane is reacting with a bold statement and a shot of her new look.
Damage CTRL vs. The Judgment Day in tag team action was the opening contest at Monday's loaded, live RAW episode. The four-minute match saw Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez defeat Sane and IYO SKY. For the finish, the Women's World Champion saved Raquel from a pin by Kairi after the Insane Elbow, then Rodriguez went on to pin Sane with a big boot and Tejana Bomb. Rhea Ripley saved Sane and SKY from a post-match attack.
The Pirate Princess is not giving up on her chase for championship gold. Sane took to X today with a defiant five-word post-RAW statement. The 36-year-old attached a stunning black-and-white photo from a shoot she did to show off a new, exquisite look.
"I will never give up," Kairi Sane wrote with the photo below.
Monday's RAW opener was a rematch from October 21, which ended in a 10-minute No Contest due to Damage CTRL fighting Meta-Four's Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson.
Sane and SKY faced Legend and Jackson in an NXT No Contest the next night, which led to the WWE Crown Jewel Fatal Four-Way, featuring Damage CTRL and Meta-Four and retaining champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill.
Kairi Sane and Dakota Kai are going for new WWE gold
Damage CTRL members and other WWE RAW Superstars are currently competing to become the inaugural WWE Women's Intercontinental Champion. The 12-woman tournament began this week and will likely wrap on January 6 during the Netflix RAW premiere.
This week's RAW saw Dakota Kai advance to the semi-finals by defeating Shayna Baszler and Katana Chance in a Triple Threat. Kai will now face the winner of Zoey Stark vs. Raquel Rodriguez vs. Kayden Carter, with the winner advancing to the finals.
Kai's stablemate, Kairi Sane, will face Natalya and Alba Fyre in a Triple Threat qualifier later this month. The winner of that match will face the winner of Lyra Valkyria vs. Zelina Vega vs. Ivy Nile to determine who will be in the championship finals against Kai, Stark, Rodriguez, or Carter.
