"Kairi Sane, Shayna Baszler, in itself, what a victory"- Lyra Valkyria shares her thoughts after massive victory on WWE RAW

WWE Superstar Lyra Valkyria recently opened up after winning her Money in the Bank qualifying match. She will be going to the MITB Premium Live Event for the first time in her career and competing for the coveted briefcase.

On tonight's episode of Monday Night RAW, Valkyria faced Shayna Baszler and Damage CTRL member, Kairi Sane for the chance to qualify for the women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Despite the Queen of Spades and Sane having the upper hand in the starting moments, Valkyria secured victory after hitting Sane with the Nightwing.

While speaking in an exclusive backstage interview with WWE, Valkyria asserted how grateful she was to have the opportunity after 10 years of her wrestling career, to showcase her potential at the premium live event.

She further claimed that she would be winning the Money in the Bank Ladder Match and would thus cement her name in the history of professional wrestling.

"Kairi Sane, Shayna Baszler, in itself, what a victory. But that victory just took me to Money in the Bank in Toronto. Biggest victory of my career yet. Do you know how many Superstars have made their name, cemented their name in the history books through winning the Money in the Bank ladder match? I'm coming up on 10 years since I stepped foot in a ring for the very first time in Bray, County Wicklow, Ireland. 10 years. And to win Money in the Bank, the very same day that I started this all, I can't think of a better way to cement my name among the very best. So get ready for the winner of Money in the Bank 2024, Lyra Valkyria. It sounds so good," said Valkyria.

Lyra Valkyria shared her honest opinion on Becky Lynch's influence on her career

Current superstar Lyra Valkyria had previously opened up regarding Becky Lynch's influence in her wrestling career.

While speaking in an interview on Talksport, Valkyria mentioned that Lynch's Irish dance made her start thinking about being a professional wrestler in the future. She added how much she was influenced and inspired to see an Irish person reaching such heights.

Valkyria detailed:

"She’s been massively influential to me. She was the reason I started. Just seeing her doing her Irish dancing that she’s now very vocally very ashamed of. Honestly, seeing her do that made me realise: ‘Irish person, oh my God, how did she get there?’ That is what set the ball rolling for me. Even that ‘shameful debut,’ as she calls it, it had such a massive effect. Because here I am, in a way, because of that," she said. (H/T Talksport)

It will be exciting to see if Lyra Valkyria can win the Women's Money in the Bank ladder match or not.
