Kairi Sane shows off battle scar ahead of WWE RAW

WWE Superstar Kairi Sane showed off a battle scar ahead of tonight's show. The veteran is currently a member of Damage CTRL and was in action during last week's edition of RAW.

Damage CTRL's Kairi Sane and IYO SKY faced The Unholy Union (Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn) in a number one contenders match last week on the red brand. During the match, Sane went for a move off the top rope and accidentally bashed her face off the announce table. Fyre and Dawn eventually won the bout and will be challenging Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair for the Women's Tag Team Championship tonight on RAW.

The botch left a battle scar under her eye, and she took to social media ahead of tonight's RAW to show that she received stitches for the wound.

Damage CTRL members Asuka and Dakota Kai are currently out of action with knee injuries. The Empress of Tomorrow and Kairi Sane also worked as a tag team known as The Kabuki Warriors, and the popular duo held the Women's Tag Team Championship earlier this year. They were dethroned by Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair at WWE Backlash in May.

Former WWE writer suggests SmackDown star will reunite with Damage CTRL

Wrestling veteran Vince Russo believes that Bayley will eventually reunite with Damage CTRL because there isn't anything else for her to do on SmackDown.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Writing with Russo show, the legend wondered what Bayley has to do besides reunite with her former faction on RAW. Damage CTRL betrayed The Role Model ahead of WrestleMania XL. Russo noted that the group is now babyface on the red brand, and the company could decide to have the former hugger return to the group.

"Knowing them the Damage CTRL is babyface now. Knowing them she [Bayley] makes up with the Damage CTRL. Where else is she gonna go with her bro? Where else?" [From 05:15 onwards]

Damage CTRL debuted as a heel faction at SummerSlam 2022 with Bayley as their leader. It will be fascinating to see what WWE has planned for the faction moving forward on RAW.
