Karrion Kross makes an interesting offer to 11-time champion following major win on WWE RAW
Following a major win on the latest episode of WWE RAW, Karrion Kross has an interesting offer for a popular star. The name in question is The New Day's Xavier Woods.
On the July 22 edition of Mondy Night RAW, Karrion Kross and the Authors of Pain faced the team of Xavier Woods and Alpha Academy in a Six-Man Tag Team Match. The Final Testament won the bout after their leader nailed The New Day member with The Final Prayer.
The two-time NXT Champion has been trying to recruit Woods into the heel faction for several weeks. While speaking on RAW Talk after the match, Kross was unhappy with the latter not aligning himself with The Final Testament. He called out the former WWE Tag Team Champion for disrespecting him in return for his offer of friendship.
"Well, that’s really not up to. That’s up to Xavier Woods. I mean, think how much I’ve done for him. I removed Kofi Kingston from the equation. I wanted to help him stand on his own two feet. And what did he do? Instead of, maybe, doing that. Maybe getting new music, showing people his actual value, his true worth, he drags all these other new victims into the equation. [Pointing at Akam and Rezar] Now, they don’t mind if you bring new victims into the equation, but that wasn’t the point of this. The point of this was to help you – I was trying to offer you friendship, a new family, but you keep spitting in my face while I wanted to just shake your hand the entire time," he said.
Karrion Kross asked Xavier Woods to make his choice while threatening to beat the latter every week in case he decides against joining The Final Testament.
"So, what do you want to do, Woods? Do you want to keep getting beat up every week? I mean, I can do that, that’s no problem, but you know what’s eventually going to happen is one day you’re going to show up to Raw, and the beating we throw you is going to be the last beating you’re ever going to receive for the rest of your life. Karrion Kross recently injured Xavier Wood's teammate on WWE RAW
On the July 1 edition of WWE RAW, Karrion Kross faced Xavier Woods in a singles match, where The New Day member won the contest with an inside cradle.
Following the match, the Authors of Pain attacked Xavier Woods. Kofi Kingston tried to intervene, but Karrion Kross took him out with a right hand and attacked his arm with a submission hold. The following week, Michael Cole announced that the former WWE Champion suffered an AC joint sprain from the vicious attack, forcing him out of action for several weeks.
Kross continues pushing Woods to join The Final Testament after injuring Kingston. It remains to be seen when the 42-year-old will return to television.
