Kayla Braxton announces major change set to take place following WWE SmackDown
Kayla Braxton announced earlier this week that she would be walking away from WWE after almost eight years following this week's episode of SmackDown.
Braxton has become a popular face on the Friday night show. Following tonight's event, she recently announced that she will be changing her Instagram name back to her real name which is Kayla Becker.
Braxton noted that she will be saying goodbye to this persona tonight at Madison Square Garden after she reportedly chose not to sign a new deal with WWE. Kayla changed her name in order to become an on-screen character and will now bid farewell to the Braxton part of her persona.
This comes after Braxton recently revealed that she was filming a movie, which could be part of the next chapter of her life.
Kayla Braxton was best known for her time working with Paul Heyman on WWE SmackDown
Kayla Braxton and Paul Heyman have become close friends over the years since Braxton appeared to be the only interviewer who could get any news from The Wiseman of The Bloodline.
The two stars became an iconic pairing and it even reached the point that Roman Reigns referred to Braxton as Paul Heyman's girlfriend. Her departure interestingly comes when Paul Heyman is reaching one of the toughest points of his career and it seems that he could be thrown out of The Bloodline tonight after requesting that CM Punk take him away with him.
Jacob Fatu made his debut last week on SmackDown and it seems there will be an acknowledgment ceremony this week to welcome him to The Bloodline.
SmackDown takes place live from Madison Square Garden and is expected to be a stacked episode of the show, just a week away from this year's Money in the Bank Premium Live Event.
