Kevin Owens' attack on Cody Rhodes "was the worst thing I've ever seen in my life," says WWE veteran; reason revealed (Exclusive)

Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes are set to write a new chapter in their rivalry post-WWE Bad Blood. A wrestling veteran ripped into the superstars and company for an angle they pulled off after the show.

Cody Rhodes teamed up with Roman Reigns to defeat Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu of The Bloodline at Bad Blood. Following their win, The Rock made his much-anticipated return and sent a cryptic message to both the stars.

After the event, Kevin Owens turned heel and attacked Cody Rhodes in the parking lot. Some fans apparently captured the footage. Jonathan Coachman and Vince Russo discussed the angle in the latest episode of The Coach and Bro Show on Sportskeeda's Backstage Pass.

Russo laughed it off, calling it one of the worst things he had ever seen in his life. He noted that Owens was throwing nonsense punches, which made the angle even worse.

"A fan caught on his cell phone the fight between Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes, now a fan," Vince Russo said sarcastically. "Okay, so you want me to believe a fan caught this on their cell phone? Then you want me to believe this is real with Kevin Owens throwing mambi-pambi rabbit punches," he continued. "Kevin Nash calls them egg beaters."

The WWE veteran went on to state that the bar had been lowered so much that fans believed nearly everything. He laughed at those who believed that it was a real fight that helped turn Owens.

"The bar is so lowered that they want to believe anything is great, Coach, anything. That was the worst thing I've ever seen in my life, and people are buying into it."

Cody Rhodes will likely stay busy in a feud with Kevin Owens. This will allow The Rock to go after Roman Reigns, and the two could go head-to-head at the upcoming Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia.
