Kevin Owens claims 29-year-old WWE Superstar "doesn't live in reality"
Former Universal Champion Kevin Owens recently took shots at a 29-year-old WWE Superstar. Notably, The Prizefighter has yet to defeat this opponent.
Owens' bad blood with Logan Paul dates back to WrestleMania 37 in 2021. After defeating Sami Zayn, KO turned his attention to The Maverick and delivered a Stunner to him. The rivalry between the two men reignited in 2024 on The Road to WrestleMania 40.
Paul successfully defended his United States Championship against Owens at the Royal Rumble 2024. The 29-year-old star also emerged victorious over The Prizefighter and Randy Orton in a Triple Threat Match at this year's Showcase of the Immortals in Philadelphia.
In an interview with Mail Sport, Kevin Owens criticized Logan Paul, suggesting that the latter was out of touch with reality due to his privileged lifestyle. The former WWE Universal Champion emphasized that The Maverick took his appearances at major events like WrestleMania and SummerSlam for granted, while lesser privileged wrestlers strived for these opportunities throughout their entire careers.
"I don't think this dude, he doesn't live in reality. Like, the world is not real for him. You know what I mean. He gets to do cool stuff, like WrestleMania is a big show that we all strive to be at for our entire careers and he just shows up at WrestleMania and SummerSlams in the stadiums," Owens said. Kevin Owens says he wants to have a WrestleMania match with former WWE World Champion
The Prizefighter engaged in a heated rivalry with Finn Balor for the NXT Championship throughout 2015. Although KO and The Prince have wrestled each other multiple times in singles matches, they have never faced off at The Grandest Stage of Them All.
During the same interaction on Mail Sport, Kevin Owens revealed that he would love to face Finn Balor at WrestleMania. Balor is also someone KO shares a deep personal friendship and bond with outside of the company.
"I have always said I would love to have a WrestleMania match with Finn Balor because we got very close very quickly when we got to WWE at the same time," he said.
The Canadian star is scheduled to lock horns with Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 14, 2024. It remains to be seen if Owens can defeat The American Nightmare to become a two-time World Champion in the company.
