Kevin Owens may have huge reason to attack Triple H after Saturday Night's Main Event, believes Hall of Famer; points out major issue
Kevin Owens may have a huge reason to attack Triple H now that Saturday Night's Main Event has ended. A Hall of Famer has pointed out a major issue.
When Kevin Owens had Cody Rhodes defeated and had his shoulders pinned to the mat, there was no referee to be found. The official had been knocked out. No one was sent running in from the back in time to make a difference to them. NWA Hall of Famer Bill Apter has commented on how it was different for Cody Rhodes and why Kevin Owens has reason to be angry with Triple H.
Unlike when Owens was pinning Rhodes, this was not the case when it came to Cody Rhodes' turn, with the referees ready to count the pin. The official didn't even enter the ring to waste a second and counted the fall while still outside.
There was almost no delay for a referee to get there although the one in the ring had been knocked out when it started. Sportskeeda's own Bill Apter commented on it.
"Since Triple H is the highest authority figure Kevin Owens is major p***ed as he had Cody beaten and pinned -- and no ref!"
Will the WWE CCO be attacked by Owens next, given the two got physical after the show was done? It seems a likely possibility at this point.
