Kevin Owens sends a one-word message after attacking Randy Orton; mocks Cody Rhodes ahead of WWE SmackDown
Kevin Owens became unhinged in WWE after Cody Rhodes teamed up with Roman Reigns and Randy Orton sided with his former protege. Today, Owens sent a one-word message after a brutal attack on The Viper and taunted The American Nightmare in the process.
Last month, Kevin Owens confronted Cody Rhodes and attacked The American Nightmare for teaming up with Roman Reigns against The Bloodline. Later, Randy Orton tried to be the peacemaker between the two, but The Viper elbowed the star and Owens turned on him as well.
Recently, a report revealed Cody Rhodes' backstage presence in the company amongst his peers, which has been very familiar and positive, similar to John Cena. Today, the former Universal Champion broke his silence after his brawl with Randy Orton at WWE Crown Jewel. The Prizefighter saw the report and mocked The American Nightmare ahead of Friday Night SmackDown.
"LOL," Owens wrote.
The report comes from a reliable source, but Owens is in no mood for praise when it comes to Cody Rhodes and wants to get his hands on the Undisputed WWE Champion.
What happened between Kevin Owens and Randy Orton at WWE Crown Jewel?
Last month, Kevin Owens created a rift between himself and Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton as he attacked both stars on different occasions. The Prizefighter believes he got betrayed by the two and wants revenge on both.
Later, the 14-time World Champion called out Triple H and got himself a match against Kevin Owens in Saudi Arabia. During Orton's entrance, The Prizefighter hit The Viper with a steel chair, which caused the officials to cancel the match.
The brawl went on for a while, and Randy Orton hit an RKO on Adam Pearce, who tried to stop the two. Later, Ownens got the upper hand and put Orton through a table with an elbow drop to close the segment.
Meanwhile, Cody Rhodes closed the show against Gunther and became the inaugural Crown Jewel Champion. It's evident a rematch between Owens and Rhodes will take place in the coming weeks for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
