Former WWE writer predicts Kevin Owens will lose at Saturday Night's Main Event

Wrestling legend Vince Russo recently predicted that Kevin Owens would lose to Cody Rhodes at Saturday Night's Main Event.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Writing with Russo show, the veteran shared an interesting reason as to why the company may want to keep the title on Rhodes. Russo noted that it was the first Saturday Night's Main Event in a long time, and the company likely wants to send fans home happy.

"I just think it's the first Saturday Night's Main Event, they gotta send people home happy I think. Maybe if it wasn't the first. I think they'd gotta put Cody over, probably last match of the night." [From 0:30 onwards]

The rivalry between Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes has become very personal on SmackDown. Last month, Owens brutally attacked Randy Orton and sent The Viper out of the arena in an ambulance. It will be interesting to see if Rhodes can get revenge and defeat KO later tonight at Saturday Night's Main Event.
