Kevin Owens teases massive heel turn on WWE SmackDown

Kevin Owens was involved in a brawl after his huge match on WWE SmackDown tonight. Following this, he teased turning heel for a brief moment as the show went off the air.

Kevin Owens has had Cody Rhodes have his back during this battle against The Bloodline. The two of them have stood together against all the odds. In fact, Owens celebrated in the ring with Cody when he won the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania XL.

However, Cody has found himself an unlikely ally in Roman Reigns lately, with whom Owens has massive issues with. Cody Rhodes will team with Reigns against Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu at WWE Bad Blood. The match was made official after both Cody and Reigns signed the contract last week.

Tonight on the blue brand, The American Nightmare asked his former rival to have his back during their match and it seems like both men are on the same page for the time being. This left Owens speechless after watching the segment.

Later on in the night, Owens competed in a six-man tag team match that ended in a no-contest since the match turned chaotic. Cody Rhodes came out to help Owens. When his back was turned, Owens teased hitting The American Nightmare with the steel chair but changed his mind after Cody turned around. Both men then shook hands and hugged each other.

It will be interesting to see if Kevin Owens does finally turn heel anytime soon and attack Cody.
