Kevin Owens' WWE match against Cody Rhodes is setting up a big surprise, says veteran (Exclusive)
WWE Bash in Berlin is set to feature a showdown between Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship in a surprising twist. However, veteran journalist Bill Apter believes another twist is already being set up.
Kevin has had an eventful career in WWE, having been both a heel and a babyface during his run. His transitions have always had one thing in common, though, his volatile temper. According to Bill Apter, this could lead to him turning heel at the Bash in Berlin Premium Live Event.
Speaking on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine hosted by Mac Davis, Apter stated:
"Kevin Owens' character is very volatile. This storyline that they are doing was kind of refreshing to me because he kept saying he didn't want the match. A champion says you can have the match, I don't want the match, I am not worthy, I am not... Maybe he is saying he is not ready for it."
The veteran continued and said he doesn't think the title will change hands in Berlin. He added that KO might turn heel again.
"So I think it's gonna be some sort of an outcome that might either turn Cody against him in the American Nightmare division, or it might turn Kevin Owens heel again. He might just go crazy on Cody. But I don't think the title's gonna change hands in Berlin." [1:58 onwards]

WWE veteran Teddy Long also agrees with Bill Apter
According to Teddy Long, Bill Apter's speculation that Cody Rhodes would not lose his title at the Bash in Berlin was the most likely outcome.
On the same episode of The Wrestling Time Machine, Teddy was asked about his thoughts on the upcoming title match. The WWE Hall of Famer stated that he was not really hyped about the match at all.
"I don't think so either. Like I said, I just haven't been really seeing anything that makes me wanna see Kevin Owens go against Cody Rhodes. I don't, I mean I don't know." [2:46 onwards]
For now, fans will have to stay tuned to see who will win between Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes.
