"Kick him to the curb" - Dominik Mysterio disappointed in legendary WWE name
Dominik Mysterio is one of the most popular second-generation WWE Superstars, and he is at the top of his game currently. However, the 27-year-old is disappointed in his father, Rey Mysterio, and he recently explained why he won't team up with The Master of 619 anymore.
Dominik Mysterio became a bona fide name in the Stamford-based promotion when he joined The Judgment Day and ruled the men's division on the developmental brand as a two-time North American Champion. However, he still has qualms with Rey Mysterio.
In an interview on Unlikley with Adrian Hernandez, Dirty Dom was asked if he was disappointed in Rey Mysterio and if he would team up with his legendary father, similar to LeBron James and his son. The RAW Superstar said that Rey was "washed," adding that he was trying to take the Mysterio name to the next level.
"I mean, it does and doesn't because I'm so much better than him. I understand, and I truly know my worth and my value. So, I know that he didn't really bring much to the table anymore. He's old; he's washed; kick him to the curb. We've got to move on. That's what I'm doing here; I'm trying to take the Mysterio name to the next level," Dominik said. [From 02:15 to 02:40]

Dominik Mysterio has previously teamed up with Rey Mysterio in WWE
A few years ago, Dominik Mysterio was introduced to the world by his legendary father, and he began to make regular appearances on weekly television. However, Dirty Dom was different back then, as he often stood up for his father.
Later, the second-generation star became a full-time wrestler in the Stamford-based promotion and entered the tag team division along with Rey Mysterio on Friday Night SmackDown.
After months of working together on WWE SmackDown, the two finally defeated the erstwhile Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode to win the SmackDown Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania Backlash 2021.
The partnership went on for another year when the father-son duo moved to Monday Night RAW. In 2022, The Mysterios went their separate ways when Dirty Dom turned on the WWE Hall of Famer and joined The Judgment Day.
