Kofi Kingston attempts to justify recent heel turn ahead of WWE SmackDown
WWE Superstar Kofi Kingston has attempted to justify his own and tag team partner, Xavier Woods', heel turn. The New Day members turned on Big E on the latest edition of Monday Night RAW.
Big E returned to WWE television to attend The New Day's 10th anniversary celebration. The 38-year-old claimed he would manage Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston till he gets medically cleared to compete. However, the duo did not agree to the idea. They refused to embrace the former WWE Champion before lashing out at him and asking him to leave.
In a recent interview on the Chase & Big Joe Show, Kofi Kingston claimed he was surprised to see the fans not understanding the reason behind their actions. He claimed that the duo spoke nothing but the truth. The 43-year-old further talked about the fans cursing and insulting them online.
“I am surprised that most of these people out here don’t really understand why we did what we did. We came out there, and you can always tell when you’re right when you make an argument, and you say nothing but facts. Everything we said on Monday night was completely factual. We told the truth. You might not like to hear what it was, but people online and social media are cussing and cursing us, and there are all these insults that have nothing to do with what we’re talking about. I know that when you can’t bring a rational argument to the table, that means you know that you’re wrong. If you don’t have any facts for the argument. Just because you’re upset doesn’t mean you’re right," he said. [H/T: WrestleTalk]

Kofi Kingston makes major claim regarding The New Day
The New Day is one of the most decorated factions in WWE. In a recent interview with In The Kliq's Baby Huey, Kofi Kingston claimed he was inconsiderate of the wrestling fans' thoughts regarding the stable.
He added that The New Day would go down in history as the greatest tag team of all time.
"If I'm being honest, I don't really care about what the fans remember about it. Because I already know. I already know what we are. You know what I'm saying? So, yeah, you can't argue with the facts, and when it's all said and done, New Day is going to go down as the greatest tag team of all time," he said. [From 13:18 onwards.]
