Kofi Kingston fires serious shots at Big E and his real-life girlfriend
WWE Superstar Kofi Kingston recently took to social media to fire some serious shots at his former New Day teammate Big E. Kingston also took jabs at the 38-year-old's girlfriend, Kris Yim, the real-life sister of Mia Yim.
This year, The New Day completed ten years in World Wrestling Entertainment. A special episode of RAW was dedicated to the faction, during which Kingston and Xavier Woods seemingly talked about breaking up the stable. However, Big E made a surprise appearance and tried to stop his former teammates from making such a decision.
During the conversation, the former WWE Champion also mentioned that despite him not being cleared to compete due to his neck injury, he would happily manage The New Day on WWE TV. However, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods completely shut down his proposal. They also took several shots at their former teammate and his real-life girlfriend Kris Yim during the promo. Since then fans have been booing Kingston and Woods on television.
Meanwhile, Kris Yim recently took to X (fka Twitter) to upload photos with her boyfriend. She also sent a message that many fans thought was a jab at Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods.
An X user tagged The New Day members on Kris' post, asking her to "cook" Big E's former teammates. Kingston then replied that he did not think Yim was talking about them. The 43-year-old also took shots at Big E, before taking a jab at the latter's girlfriend:
"Oh, she’s definitely not talking about us. E didn’t leave us; We actually sent him home. Also from what I heard, she can’t cook…," Kingston wrote.

Vince Russo believes WWE does not have any plans for The New Day after they turned on Big E
During an edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, former WWE writer Vince Russo said that he believed the Triple H-led creative team did not have any plans for The New Day's current storyline.
Russo also highlighted that their story did not move forward at all since Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods turned on Big E:
"They probably have no idea where they are going with this, Chris. I guarantee you. This is what they do when they don't know what to do with something... We've seen them two weeks now, and the story has not moved forward at all."
