Kofi Kingston sends warning to 38-year-old ahead of WWE RAW
Kofi Kingston has delivered a warning to a popular WWE Superstar ahead of tonight's edition of RAW. The former World Champion will be in action in a singles match tonight on the red brand.
Karrion Kross has been causing issues for The New Day in recent weeks and has been trying to convince Xavier Woods to leave the faction. Kross is the leader of The Final Testament and has not competed in a televised match since the Six Man Tag Team Philadelphia Street Fight match at WrestleMania XL. The 38-year-old will be squaring off against Kingston tonight and the latter sent Kross a warning ahead of their match after Cathy Kelley thought The New Day were not friends anymore.
"That's what Karrion Kross is doing. People say, 'Oh, he is just putting stuff out on social media. Oh, it doesn't really matter'. But now people are coming in, Cathy Kelley's coming in saying all of these things. And that's the most offensive thing. You know? Because The New Day, it was built on trust. It was built on selflessness. So for Karrion Kross to be saying all of the things he is saying online, there is a price that has to be paid. And tonight he is going to pay that price," said Kingston.
Bill Apter claims WWE may need to repackage The New Day
Wrestling veteran Bill Apter recently stated that The New Day might need to be repackaged by WWE and their act isn't working the same way it used to.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW show last month, Apter stated that The New Day's act "isn't sticking anymore." He suggested that WWE possibly needed to do something different with the faction or repackage them.
"New Day rocks but it's just, it's just not sticking anymore. They need to do something new with them, with different opponents and I don't know, it's kinda like they need to be repackaged," he said.
The New Day's Xavier Woods claimed he was afraid to come to tonight's episode of WWE RAW due to the attack by the Wyatt Sicks last week. It will be interesting to see who wins the match between Kross and Kingston later tonight on the red brand.
