LA Knight completely rejects the idea of reuniting with current Bloodline member and reforming former faction from outside WWE: "Guaranteed no"
LA Knight reached the pinnacle of his WWE career so far when he defeated Logan Paul in a mesmerizing match at Summerslam 2024. With his win, The Megastar became the new WWE United States Champion and has looked stronger ever since.
While Knight is enjoying the best moments of his career lately, there is now a chance for him to reunite with his former friends to re-form The Rising. Back in 2015, LA Knight, Drew McIntyre, and Tonga Loa formed a faction named The Rising, which turned out to be pretty dominant in IMPACT Wrestling.
During his recent appearance at Fanatics Fest NYC, Big E asked LA Knight if there was a possibility the trio could reunite. Instantly following the question, the 41-year-old rejected the idea and stated that only a few people knew about the group anyway.
"Oh, wow. OK. No, probably not. That is a guaranteed no. First of all, three people only even know what that is. And just... No," said LA Knight.
While all three members of the faction are currently in WWE, the faction reuniting doesn't seem to be the best plan for any of them.
LA Knight set for his first title defense on SmackDown
Since his victory at Summerslam, LA Knight has been trying to find a worthy challenger for his United States Championship. A couple of weeks ago, Santos Escobar faced Andrade in a No. 1 contender's match where Carmelo Hayes helped Escobar pick a win.
Following his win, Santos Escobar will now challenge LA Knight for the United States Championship next week on WWE SmackDown. However, Knight's opponent for Bash in Berlin is yet to be announced. Though it is not necessary that the US Champion will have to be a part of the premium live event, fans will have to wait and see what happens during the title match on this week's SmackDown.
