LA Knight defeats 40-year-old star for the 6th time in a row after RAW goes off the air
LA Knight was on Monday Night RAW this week, along with another fellow SmackDown star and an old opponent. He successfully defended his United States Championship against a 40-year-old star and picked up his sixth win in a row against him.
LA Knight is set to defend his United States Championship at Crown Jewel against Andrade and Carmelo Hayes. Knight was criticized for his involvement in "Game 7" of Andrade vs Hayes, which meant the feud had no conclusive winner. However, one of the two men could become the United States Champion in Riyadh this weekend.
After RAW went off the air, LA Knight defeated Santos Escobar for the sixth time in a row. Interestingly, he now leads the series 6-5, as Escobar picked up five consecutive wins during their first set of matches. Knight has won six in a row since then.
Escobar will be looking to get back in the mix on SmackDown as Legado Del Fantasma has seemingly taken a step back after a decent year in 2023.
He is a premier talent from Mexico, and WWE is looking to capitalize on that. It will be interesting to see if anything comes up for him in the future.
As for The Megastar, it's onwards and head to Saudi Arabia.
