LA Knight has "gone dim" but returning WWE Superstar can change that, Hall of Famer says

According to a WWE Hall of Famer, LA Knight has lost a bit of his luster. He recently completed 100 days as United States Champion but was only able to defend the belt once at a premium live event.

On the positive side, though, he has had way more title defenses than the previous holder of the belt, Logan Paul. Be that as it may, The Megastar's rivals were up-and-comers who may not have greatly complimented his star power. Booker T believes former Royal Rumble winner Shinsuke Nakamura will do exactly that.

Speaking on the Hall of Fame podcast, Booker noted that Knight has "gone dim," but the Wayward Samurai's quest to claim gold can motivate The Megastar to up his game. The Hall of Famer is a big fan of Shinsuke Nakamura and is really looking forward to the teased program on SmackDown this past Friday:

"I like that matchup as well. LA Knight needs something to spark his flame again. It seems like he’s gone dim just a little bit. Seems like that star has dimmed just a little bit. So I think Shinsuke Nakamura will definitely be the right person. I love Shinsuke. I love everything about him. He's that silent killer, that assassin, that ninja. So yeah, I like that," Booker T said. [From 51:15 to 51:40]

Shinsuke Nakamura vs. LA Knight for the US Title, The Wayward Samurai's ambition

After knocking down US Champion LA Knight, Shinsuke Nakamura simply walked out of the ring. WWE has laid the foundation of what appears to be a story-driven rivalry for The Megastar, marking his first since dethroning Logan Paul. As for The Artist, it is his first program on SmackDown after getting drafted back in April.

Wrestling veteran Konnan voiced his utter disappointment at WWE for destroying every bit of momentum they built for Shinsuke Nakamura in the past year. The former Royal Rumble winner feuded with Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes but came out on the losing end both times.

During a Money in the Bank promotional video package last year, Nakamura articulated his desire to become the first Japanese Heavyweight Champion in World Wrestling Entertainment. The Artist added that he hopes to inspire other Asians to chase a dream.
