LA Knight hits major WWE milestone ahead of Survivor Series: WarGames

WWE Superstar LA Knight is among the most popular babyfaces on the entire roster. The Megastar has had a successful year thus far and has recently hit a substantial milestone ahead of the Survivor Series: WarGames Premium Live Event, scheduled for November 30.

The 42-year-old defeated Logan Paul at WWE SummerSlam to become the new United States Champion. The victory at The Biggest Party of The Summer marked his first-ever title win on the main roster.

LA Knight has been the United States Champion for 100 days as of today, November 11, 2024. Contrary to his predecessor, Logan Paul, Knight has proved to be a fighting champion, having defended the title five times. He most recently retained the title in a Triple Threat Championship Match against Andrade and Carmelo Hayes at WWE Crown Jewel.

Wrestling veteran shares his take on LA Knight's most recent title defense

As mentioned earlier, The Megastar locked horns with fellow SmackDown Superstars Andrade and Carmelo Hayes in a Triple Threat Match for the United States Championship at the premium live event in Saudi Arabia. The three performers put forth a highly engaging contest filled with intense action that had fans on the edge of their seats.

Sportskeeda Wrestling's Senior Editor, Bill Apter, shared his honest opinion about the title match. The veteran pointed out that he was impressed by the energy throughout the contest. He stated that the challengers put forth impressive performances, but WWE was not prepared to give the title to anybody else.

"Nothing negative about this match. Off the charts energy, as the broadcasters said several times. Lots of high-flying action with LA Knight retaining in an 'This is awesome!' chant match. Andrade and Hayes did an excellent job, but WWE is not ready to take the U.S. honors from the hugely popular LA Knight yet," Bill Apter said.

Knight reportedly missed the most recent edition of Friday Night SmackDown due to being banged up during his title defense at Crown Jewel. It remains to be seen who will be the next challenger for his United States Championship.
