LA Knight makes a major announcement on WWE SmackDown; sends a warning to 40-year-old star

LA Knight made a big announcement on the latest episode of SmackDown regarding his upcoming United States Championship match against Santos Escobar. He also sent a warning to the 40-year-old WWE star.

Last week on the blue brand, the Legado Del Fantasma member defeated Andrade to earn the right to challenge The Megastar for the coveted title. This will be LA's first title defense since dethroning Logan Paul at SummerSlam.

LA Knight announced that his match against Santos Escobar will take place on SmackDown next week in Washington D.C. He warned Escobar that he'll knock him in the dirt.

"Esco, I don't know if you'll forget who you are but next week there's a good chance you'll forget where you are when you catch a BFT and I knock your little [inaudible] in the dirt. Now me on the other hand, I ain't gonna forget where we are. You're talking about the nation's capital meeting the nation's champ. With this US Champ well, I don't really have time to be worried about some cross-eyed halfwit calling me trash... This week, next week, any week you want, this trash will put you on your a**," said LA Knight.

Another title match was announced for SmackDown next week. The Street Profits will face The Bloodline for the WWE Tag Team Championship.
