LA Knight makes major career prediction ahead of WWE Smackdown

LA Knight has made a major prediction about his career ahead of tonight's edition of WWE SmackDown. The Megastar competed in the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match at the premium live event this past Saturday night but came up short.

Ahead of tonight's edition of WWE SmackDown in Worcester, Massachusetts, LA Knight shared an interesting video on social media. He noted that he had mixed feelings heading into tonight's show but had a major goal in mind. The veteran predicted that he could be winning the United States Championship soon.

"Who would have known, Worcester, that is where LA Knight made his first appearance here on SmackDown. Interesting time, interesting place. Mixed feelings, standing right here. Thinking about what happened, thinking about what has happened since then, and where we stand now. I'm thinking even more about where we are going. Because I think I see some United States gold in my future, he said. [From 00:01 - 00:30]

Logan Paul is the reigning United States Champion but has only defended the title twice since winning it from Rey Mysterio last year at WWE Crown Jewel 2023. Knight is already in a rivalry with The Maverick on SmackDown and recently even invaded the latter's home.

WWE legend comments on Logan Paul versus LA Knight

Wrestling icon Hulk Hogan recently shared his thoughts on the feud between LA Knight and United States Champion Logan Paul on WWE SmackDown.

Speaking with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Senior Editor, Bill Apter in an exclusive interview, Hulk Hogan praised Logan Paul for his talent in the ring. The Hulkster added that Knight and Paul could have an entertaining match together.

"The Paul brother. The new guy that came in [Logan Paul]... Ya I think he is beyond talented. This guy is truly... really figured it out... Psychologically-wise he is there. But my god what a talent this guy is. With him and LA Knight, if they put their heads together, this could be a lot of fun to watch," said Hogan. [2:26 onwards]

Despite his popularity, LA Knight has never won a title on the main roster. It will be interesting to see if the 41-year-old can dethrone Logan Paul and win the United States Championship in the weeks ahead on the blue brand.
