LA Knight makes a massive announcement for WWE SummerSlam; sends a message to current champion

LA Knight was involved in an in-ring segment on the latest episode of SmackDown, which saw him make a big announcement for WWE SummerSlam. He revealed that he will face Logan Paul for the United States Championship at the event.

The two stars have been involved in a storyline for quite some time now. The Megastar has been chasing The Maverick for weeks, wanting a title shot. On WWE SmackDown this Friday, LA Knight addressed his loss at Money in the Bank. He admitted that he wasn't going to complain that he lost.

He then reminded the fans that he pinned Logan Paul during their triple-threat qualifying match, which he believed counted for something. The Megastar then revealed that he received a signed contract from Nick Aldis for a United States Championship match at SummerSlam.

LA Knight then signed the contract, and he said that only Paul's signature was missing to make things official. Logan Paul was not on the show. Knight said that he would make the US Champion sign the contract one way or another.

It was announced later on SmackDown that Logan would return next week to address the contract situation.
