LA Knight receives a nine-word message ahead of his title defense at WWE Crown Jewel; top superstar reveals his goal
WWE Superstar LA Knight has received a message ahead of his United States Championship defense at the Crown Jewel 2024 Premium Live Event. On social media, Andrade put The Megastar on notice.
At the upcoming PLE, Knight will compete in a Triple Threat Match against Andrade and Carmelo Hayes. SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis made the match official after The Megastar interfered during 'Game Seven' of the Andrade vs. Hayes series. The two superstars were tied at 3-3 heading into the seventh match.
Knight, who has beaten both his challengers in recent weeks, was put on notice by Andrade, who has his sights set on the United States Championship. Taking to X/Twitter, the 34-year-old star shared a photo of himself in the desert of Saudi Arabia.
"My mind and eyes on the United States Championship!! #WWE #CrownJewel #Andrade," Andrade shared.

Wrestling veteran commented on LA Knight's antics during Andrade and Carmelo Hayes' match
Wrestling veteran Bill Apter discussed LA Knight's recent antics while officiating the match between Andrade and Carmelo Hayes.
Following a recent edition of SmackDown, Apter discussed Knight's officiating, claiming he expected the shenanigans from The Megastar. He stated that a wrestler officiating a match usually ends with a "sc*ewjob" finish.
"I just left a comment about LA Knight officiating. Not just LA Knight but any wrestler. Any wrestler officiating a match as a referee, there's always going to be something going awry, some sc*ewjob finish. They never ever end fairly," Bill Apter said.
At the SummerSlam 2024 Premium Live Event, Knight won the United States Championship by defeating Logan Paul. This marked his first major singles championship victory in the company. Knight has successfully defended his title on SmackDown but has not defended it at a PLE.
Andrade is a former United States Champion. Since returning to the company, the 34-year-old star has yet to get his hands on a title. Meanwhile, Hayes is a former NXT Champion and a former NXT North American Champion. A victory for Melo at Crown Jewel 2024 would mark his first singles title win on the main roster.
