LA Knight sends a strong message to 34-year-old WWE star after SmackDown

WWE Superstar LA Knight has put his next challenger on notice after the latest edition of Friday Night SmackDown. The name in question is Andrade.

The 34-year-old star has been in a feud with Carmelo Hayes for the past few weeks. In the fifth match of their series on the September 13 edition of the blue brand, Andrade defeated the former NXT Champion, securing a 3-2 victory overall. After the bout, The Megastar challenged Andrade to a United States Championship match on the next week's episode of SmackDown.

In a social media promo after the blue brand, LA Knight noted that the reigning WWE Speed Champion's high-flying style will be ineffective against his aggressive, hard-hitting approach.

The 41-year-old WWE star confidently bragged about his dominance in the ring, highlighting his hard-hitting strikes and powerful maneuvers. As the reigning US Champion, The Megastar asserted that Andrade's challenge was a futile endeavor.

"You can do all your little flips and dives and all that trash all you want. We ain't going to be doing any of that stuff next week. I'll tell you what we are going to be doing. Going to be a whole lot of BFT. A whole lot of Blunt Forced Trauma. A whole lot of three, the hard way. Because that's the only way it can go. US Champion ain't going anywhere. Nothing's changing. The game is still the same, and whose game is it? With everybody saying, L.A. Knight. Yeah!"

LA Knight says he felt his WWE career ended with infamous character

Before achieving mainstream stardom, The Megastar was known for his infamous role as Max Dupri, leader of the Maximum Male Models faction, which also featured his on-screen sister, Maxxine Dupri.

During an interview with La Causerie, LA Knight expressed his negative feelings towards his former Max Dupri character, stating that it felt like a career-ending move for him. The WWE United States Champion described the experience as a low point in his career, where he felt unsure of his future in the industry.

"Oh, that trash, yeah, no, no, no, I don't. I very much felt like it was torpedoing my career. I very much felt like I was pretty much done for at that point. That was one of those few times where I was just like, 'All right, well, this is either the end of me here, or this is possibly the end of me in this business, or who knows, because it was not me.' It was not anything that I wanted to do or looked forward to doing. At the same time, I am committed to putting the best foot forward, so I gave it a shot, gave it the old college try. But, you know, there are some things that people are fit for and some that people aren't," he said.
