LA Knight uses tough words for new challenger; claims his opponent will be a "big-time loser"

WWE United States Champion LA Knight is confident about his chances next week on SmackDown. The star is set to defend his title on the blue brand.

The fifth encounter between Carmelo Hayes and Andrade ended with the latter picking up an impressive win and earning a shot at the United States Championship. The WWE Speed Champion hit a vicious Twisting Neckbreaker for the victory.

This week on SmackDown Lowdown, WWE correspondent Byron Saxton caught up with LA Knight. The Megastar claimed that Andrade was going to lose despite all his in-ring acumen. The champ made it clear that he was not losing the championship anytime soon and his opponents could not take the title off him.

"Next week, it will be me, it will be Andrade for this pretty little piece of gold. The chip that I hold on my shoulder right here in Sacramento. My man, look, all you did, I told you before, the only thing you did is you won a contest to be a big-time loser. 'Cause ain't nobody taking this off me, not you, not anybody. Why? Not 'cause you're not good enough, but because I won't let you. That's not an insult, that's just a fact of life. Whose game is it? With everybody saying, 'LA Knight, yeah!'" [From 1:55 - 2:22]

LA Knight defeated Logan Paul at SummerSlam

It was a defining moment for LA Knight as he faced Logan Paul at SummerSlam earlier this year. The two stars put on a stellar matchup with the fate of the US Title hanging in the balance.

Despite his underhanded tactics, Logan couldn't come up with the win and took a BFT from Knight, ending the contest in The Megastar's favor.

Since winning the gold, Knight has successfully defended the title against Santos Escobar.

It will be interesting to see how he fares against Andrade's challenge next week on SmackDown.
