Legendary duo defeats The Judgment Day after SmackDown goes off the airĀ
Two major groups on Monday Night RAW including The Judgment Day appeared for the post-SmackDown dark match. The Judgment Day was defeated by a legendary duo.
The main event of SmackDown saw Randy Orton defeat Carmelo Hayes to secure his spot in the King of the Ring semi-finals. After SmackDown went off the air, JD McDonagh and Finn Balor of The Judgment Day had two Champions to face in the form of World Tag Team Champions The Miz and R-Truth.
The legendary duo of The Miz & R-Truth aka The Awesome Truth faced McDonagh and Balor and went on to defeat them after SmackDown went off the air.
This past week on RAW, JD McDonagh and Finn Balor became number one contenders for the World Tag Team Championship that is held by The Awesome Truth.
The spot came thanks to an assist from Carlito, who is looking to do business with the faction to get back at the LWO, who were also drafted to RAW. The Awesome Truth, in a RAW Talk promo, revealed that they wanted to end the group.
R-Truth, for his part, claimed that he no longer wanted to be a part of the faction despite never actually being a part of the group.
