Legendary duo signed by WWE set to make debut within the next month - Reports
WWE has reportedly made a massive signing recently, one of the biggest tag teams signed to the company in recent times. The legendary duo is set to debut in less than a month, according to a new report.
Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin have been together for a long time now. They started as X-Division stars in TNA before becoming The Motor City Machine Guns, one of the more prominent tag teams of the 21st century. Apart from TNA, they also tore it apart in ROH and NJPW. They even appeared at AEW's All Out PPV in 2022, teaming up with Jay Lethal in a losing effort against Wardlow and FTR (fka The Revival).
According to the latest reports from PWInsider, the plan is for the legendary Motor City Machine Guns to make their WWE debut by October 1, for the NXT on CW Premiere - if not earlier.
This is going to be a huge addition to the NXT roster. NXT under Shawn Michaels has been hot and fans anticipate that the Motor City Machine Guns could be heading straight for the Tag Team Title once they make their WWE NXT debut.
Shelley and Sabin have made their mark in the pro wrestling industry for several years now and have won the TNA World Title once each along with numerous tag team championships.
To many, this is one of the most exciting signings the company has made this year - arguably on par with the likes of Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer.
