Legendary female wrestler recalls match with Becky Lynch from five years ago

A wrestling veteran just recalled what she felt was one of her favorite matches against Becky Lynch at WWE SummerSlam. This match took place five years ago.

Natalya has had a legendary career in the WWE. She has accomplished almost everything there is to accomplish in the company. She is a multi-time women's champion and even holds several Guinness World Records.

Natalya has competed against some of the biggest stars in the business and has beaten them all. One of her biggest feuds was against Becky Lynch five years ago. The two women squared off in a hard-hitting submission match for the RAW Women's Championship at SummerSlam 2019. In the end, it was The Man who came out on top.

Recently, a fan account on X posted a clip from the match and Natalya responded to it, saying that she loved this match against Lynch. She also mentioned that opening the show in Toronto made the match more special.

"I loved this match with Becky. Opening the show in Toronto made it that much more special."

Becky Lynch seemingly confirmed retirement with emotional post

Becky Lynch's in-ring future has come under question in recent weeks, especially after it was reported that she was stepping away from the ring following her loss to Liv Morgan. Since then, she has not been seen on WWE television and there has been no update on when she will be back.

A&E recently aired a documentary series titled Biography: WWE Legends and one of the episodes featured Becky Lynch. Following this, Lynch took to social media to seemingly confirm that she may be done with wrestling with a thank you message for the fans.

"It’s been a helluva career. Being The Man for all of you was an honor, being the mom for her is a privilege. Thanks for watching my bio on @AETV."
