Legendary John Cena rival wants to return to WWE for one last match with the 25-time champion during his Retirement Tour
John Cena's WWE retirement tour is on the horizon and the number of stars who want to face him has been increasing every day. The 16-time world champion now has a WWE Hall of Famer who is ready to come out of retirement for a match.
Rob Van Dam, in a recent episode of the Hannibal TV, addressed the discussion of fans wanting him to return to face John Cena during his retirement tour. When asked if he was interested, the Hall of Famer instantly agreed that he would love to face Cena once again.
Given the history both Cena and Rob Van Dam share, another match between both men will clearly be a massive attraction. However, it would be interesting to see if the Hall of Famer decides to step out of his retirement for another match.
"I would be extremely interested in that, yes," said the Hall of Famer [1:35 onwards]
Rob Van Dam discussed some massive names he would love to face in WWE
While Rob Van Dam's return to the squared circle seems to be out of the cards, the Hall of Famer was asked if he had any names left on the list of stars he wanted to wrestle.
The 53-year-old named the likes of Chris Jericho, Christian, and Edge as the stars he would love to face.
"I would actually love to work with some of my peers, you know, and have a match with Jericho or Christian or Edge. Someone like that, you know, someone that we've had incredible, outstanding matches with in the past, and we could do it again," stated the Hall of Famer [01:05 onwards]
It would be interesting to see if Rob Van Dam, if the opportunity arises, can recreate some of the magic he had with John Cena once more.
