"We are just getting started" - Lita names her picks for future headliners in WWE
WWE legend Lita recently picked some of the current superstars that could become potential main eventers in the years to come.
The Extreme Diva is one of the most recognizable stars in WWE and a groundbreaking talent that has brought women's wrestling to the forefront. She is a former four-time Women's Champion and a WWE Hall of Famer.
Lita was a special guest on this week's episode of After the Bell with WWE announcer Corey Graves. The Hall of Famer mentioned that during her feud with Big Time Becks, she noticed some future stars in the company.
She spoke highly of RAW Superstars Doudrop, Liv Morgan, and Rhea Ripley. The veteran pointed out that the three women were just getting started and would become bonafide headliners in the years to come.
"I got to be more backstage at Raw working with Becky leading up to it. I will say that three women that I am like, 'Oh, we are just getting started seeing where these women can go,' are Doudrop, Liv Morgan, and Rhea Ripley. I think all three of those women have had these little moments and these little opportunities, but we’re just scratching the surface there on what they can do to be players and viable stars headlining cards in years to come." Lita competed against Becky Lynch at WWE Elimination Chamber
The Hall of Famer was last in action against RAW Women's Champion Becky Lynch at the Elimination Chamber premium live event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
While she did not win the title that night, the veteran proved to the WWE Universe that she still had what it takes to be a main event player and a significant draw in the WWE.
