Lita shares emotional message with Trish Stratus ahead of major celebration
Lita and Trish Stratus will arguably go down as two of the greatest women's wrestlers of all time. The longtime partners and rivals have locked up more than 70 times and teamed up on more than 30 occasions. The legends are set to celebrate a major WWE moment later tonight, and now Lita has shared a special message.
Today marks 20 years since The Extreme Diva and Canada's Greatest Export made history by working the WWE RAW main event, live from the Cricket Arena in Charlotte, NC. The seven-minute match ended with Lita dethroning Trish for the WWE Women's Championship.
Lita and Trish are set to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their historic RAW main event later tonight at GalaxyCon in Columbus, OH. The convention's "Team Bestie: The Main Event Exclusive" stage show will feature the two multi-time champions discussing their December 2004 match, along with a live commentary screening of the landmark bout, an exclusive Q&A session, and more. The tickets, which did not include convention admission, were priced at $25, $200, and $250.
The Queen of Extreme took to Instagram today to mark the anniversary and plug tonight's stage show. She attached a video promo to the post and noted that her friendship with Stratus has been the one constant in her unpredictable journey.
"20 years! Who would’ve thought we’d still be talking about this match 2 decades later? Shout out to @chrisriddle for encapsulating our lighting in a bottle moment and for capturing our friendship that has been the one constant in an otherwise unpredictable journey. Here’s to another 20 bestie! @trishstratuscom X @machetegirl We’ll see you tonight to celebrate Columbus! @galaxyconcolumbus," she wrote.

The newly-crowned Women's Champion would go on to defeat Stratus at non-televised WWE live events in the days after their RAW main event. However, the Canadian won the title back on January 1, 2005, at the New Year's Revolution in Puerto Rico.
Lita reunites with Jeff Hardy at an event
Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, and Lita have made their individual names in pro wrestling. They also found success in WWE as a three-person faction named Team Xtreme.
Team Xtreme had many notable feuds, against names like Edge & Christian, and The Dudley Boyz. The Queen of Extreme and The Charismatic Enigma recently reunited at the WrestleCade convention in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The Florida native shared a photo of the two, along with others from her weekend.
The last six-person tag match for Team Xtreme came on the February 26, 2022 edition of SmackDown. They were defeated by Jazz and The Dudley Boyz. A few months before, they were defeated by The Dudleys and Stacy Keibler on the blue brand.
