Liv Morgan addresses WWE Hall of Famer's RAW return
Women's World Champion, Liv Morgan is looking to put WWE Superstar, Rhea Ripley, behind her and move on with The Judgment Day, but that will not happen without another title defense. Mami pinned Morgan at Bash in Berlin in their Mixed Tag Team Match, which gives the former an opening to issue a challenge.
Perhaps it will be made official this Monday on WWE RAW. The show is set to air live from the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and the company has announced the return of hometown hero Bret "The Hitman" Hart.
Speaking to the Calgary Sun, Liv Morgan touched upon a bevy of topics before discussing the importance of the locations that host WWE shows. She believes the upcoming appearance by the Hall of Famer, Bret Hart, will be "iconic."
"I hear that Bret Hart is going to be there Monday, which I think is going to be so iconic," Morgan said. "This Monday is for sure going to be special and I’m very happy to be there. Calgary always brings the energy, so we’re excited for the next stop on the Liv Morgan Revenge Tour." [H/T: Calgary Sun]
There have been rumblings about Bret Hart's return, with a report indicating that he will be part of the ongoing storyline with World Heavyweight Champion Gunther and Sami Zayn.
Having never held a world title before, The Underdog From The Underground mentioned Hart last week, when challenging The Ring General to a title match, stating how legends like The Hitman used the Intercontinental Championship as a stepping stone to becoming a world champion.
Rhea Ripley looks back at a decision she made in WWE two years ago which had ramifications
Liv Morgan's "Revenge Tour" stems from Rhea Ripley turning her back on the Women's World Champion two years ago. Thereafter, The Eradicator injured Morgan last year during the summer.
Speaking on Ring The Belle, Rhea Ripley opened up about her decision to leave behind the former Riott Squad member and join The Judgment Day. She justified her decision, convinced that if she hadn't turned on her partner, Morgan definitely would have.
Ripley assisted Adam 'Edge' Copeland at Backlash 2022 to victory during the Hall of Famer's match against AJ Styles, which signaled her heel turn.
"We had walls up and we bonded over that but at the same time once we started arguing and losing I felt like both our walls were so up to the point that if I wasn't going to turn on her [Morgan], she was going to turn on me and to save myself from that absolute heartbreak, I decided that I wanted to join The Judgment Day and I want to be better because I could feel myself becoming a softer version of me and being a weaker version and I didn't like that," said Ripley.
Liv Morgan discussed her inevitable showdown with Rhea Ripley a few days back, teasing a match at WWE Bad Blood. The 30-year-old wants to "put an end" to The Nightmare once and for all and conclude the 'Liv Morgan Revenge Tour.'
