Liv Morgan broke character to protect Rhea Ripley from potential injury on WWE RAW

Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan were involved in a heartfelt moment on last night's edition of WWE RAW. Morgan was seen trying to help The Nightmare after a dangerous bump that the duo took.

On WWE RAW, Damian Priest and Dominik Mysterio competed in a singles match. At one point during the contest, Rhea Ripley tackled Liv over the announce desk and the duo took a massive bump as a result.

In a wholesome kayfabe-breaking moment following the huge bump, Liv Morgan was spotted putting her hand below Rhea Ripley's head to prevent any inadvertent bump on the floor.

Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan's broken relationship

Ripley and Liv were incredibly close on WWE TV back in 2022. The duo's friendship ended when Ripley turned on Morgan and attacked her on an episode of WWE RAW in mid-2022. Mere weeks before the breakup, Rhea heaped big praise on Liv during an interview with TVInsider.

Here's what she said:

“It was sort of thrown together, like my tag team with Nikki ASH. But I’m very thankful it was because I get along with Liv,” said Rhea. “Not that I didn’t with Nikki - until she backstabbed me [on TV]. I really don’t let a lot of people in. Liv’s different. I’ve known Liv for five years now. She has such a bubbly personality. She is an Energizer Bunny and is always making me smile. I’m having fun during this time.” [H/T - TVInsider]

A lot has seemingly changed over the past two years or so. Liv and Rhea are currently feuding on WWE TV and will clash at Bad Blood. Liv will defend the Women's World Title against Mami at the WWE Premium Live Event. In real life, though, the two female stars are reportedly still the best of friends.
