Liv Morgan celebrates major Judgment Day milestone ahead of WWE Bad Blood

Women's World Champion Liv Morgan's skill set will be put to the test this Saturday at WWE Bad Blood against Rhea Ripley. It is perhaps the most crucial match of her reign. In more ways than one, aside from a brief rivalry with Becky Lynch, Morgan's entire story arc with regard to the title has Ripley playing a key role. Although the former has put away Mami before, this time, there will be no help from Dominik Mysterio as the latter will be suspended above a Shark Cage.

Before we get there, though, The Judgment Day celebrates a milestone. World Tag Team Champions JD McDonagh and Finn Bálor have completed 100 days with the gold. This is McDonagh's first belt. Finn and JD have a rich history together, dating all the way back to their early days in Ireland.

This is a big moment for the group as a whole, one that Liv Morgan only recently joined. She has repeatedly made efforts to assist the faction, including McDonagh and Bálor's title win. Taking to Instagram, she re-shared USA Network's post highlighting The Judgment Day's dominance.

The Irish duo won the belts from The Miz and R-Truth, bringing them back to The Judgment Day after Finn Bálor and Damian Priest lost them at WrestleMania in April 2024. However, since then, they have only defended the belts once, against The New Day a couple of weeks ago.

Will Liv Morgan cement her legacy with a defining victory over Rhea Ripley at WWE Bad Blood?

Beyond saving Dominik Mysterio from his claustrophobia and fear of heights, which WWE has emphasized ahead of the Women's World Title Match, Liv Morgan has something to prove here. Her entire "Revenge Tour" angle was all about putting away Mami for good.

Rhea Ripley has been the thorn in Morgan's side for years, ergo this Saturday is a great opportunity for Liv to silence The Nightmare, and continue her reign as the "Greatest Women's World Champion of all time."

At Bash in Berlin on August 31, Rhea Ripley pinned the Women's World Champion, thus earning a shot at the title. Whether Mami can replicate this win at Bad Blood remains to be seen.
