Liv Morgan challenged to major WWE title match next week; it's not against IYO SKY
This week on RAW, Liv Morgan screwed over and sabotaged two reigning champions from getting a chance to challenge her for the Women’s World Championship. Despite this, she will still be entering a title match next week. Moreover, it won’t be against the number one contender for her belt, IYO SKY, but against Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair.
This week’s Monday Night Show featured a Battle Royal featuring several female wrestlers gunning for a title shot against Liv Morgan. The inaugural Women’s Crown Jewel Champion was watching the match from ringside and laughing each time a superstar got eliminated.
The match was ultimately won by IYO SKY who dropped Lyra Valkyria out of the ring with a German Suplex. However, she may not have been the victor of the match had Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez not sabotaged and eliminated Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill.
Sending a message to The Judgment Day duo in a WWE RAW Exclusive, The Storm and The EST of WWE challenged Rodriguez and Liv Morgan to a match on next week’s RAW. Moreover, they also agreed to put their titles on the line for the bout as well.
Notably, ahead of the Battle Royal, the women’s tag champs entered into a scuffle with Liv Morgan and Rodriguez. The Women’s World Champion said that the babyfaces had a fake bond of friendship that was only held by their titles. She also said that they would turn on each other without the titles since both of them saw themselves as superior wrestlers.
This resulted in a heated argument that prompted Adam Pearce to come out and ensure everyone kept their hands to themselves. Despite this, Belair slapped the Women’s Crown Jewel Champion. To get her revenge, The Judgment Day member then screwed over the tag champs during the Battle Royal.
It would be interesting to see if Morgan can become the wielder of three belts at the same time next week.
