Liv Morgan defeats popular star for the second time in 88 days as SmackDown goes off the air
Liv Morgan is a regular on SmackDown dark matches and has defended her Women's World Championship a few times. This week, she faced a popular star for the second time in 88 days and won.
Morgan is set to defend her Women's World Championship at Bad Blood against Rhea Ripley in one of the more highly anticipated matches on the card, along with the Hell in a Cell match, and the tag match where Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns will team up.
On the RAW side of things, Morgan is focused on Rhea Ripley. However, she briefly renewed her rivalry with Zelina Vega after 88 days and beat her once SmackDown went off the air.
If you recall, the two had a brief rivalry a few months ago. They faced off in a singles match that Liv Morgan won, and the mixed tag team match saw Dominik Mysterio get his first-ever pinfall against his father, Rey Mysterio.
Of course, that was before Dominik and Liv became popular. Back then, it was all "unintentional."
To many, Zelina Vega should be pushing for the Women's World Championship at some point in the future. Time will tell if that happens.
